Comprehensive Programs for Safe Drivers

At NR Driving School, our instruction meets all requirements mandated by Massachusetts Law. Our curriculum is designed to build a foundation of lifelong safety while ensuring every student receives a comprehensive education.

Program Requirements

To earn a Driver's Education Certificate, students must complete the following four pillars of training:

  • 30 Hours of Classroom Instruction.

  • 12 Hours of Behind-the-Wheel Training (New Program).

  • 6 Hours of Student Observation (observing another student driving).

  • 2 Hour Parent Class (Required before on-road lessons can begin).

We offer a wide variety of classes scheduled to meet the needs of busy students, including evening sessions, Saturday classes, and one-week vacation programs.

2026 Class Schedules

Course Fee: $1,200.00 
The balance must be paid in full before on-road scheduling can begin.

Saturday Classes (In-Person)

  • Dates: September 12 – October 10

  • Dates: October 24 – November 19

  • Time: 8:15 AM – 3:15 PM

  • For 5 Saturdays

Evening Sessions (In-Person)

  • Time: 6:30 PM – 8:30 PM

  • Days: Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday

Vacation Classes (Week-Long In-person)

  • Dates: 

    July 6th - July 10th

    July 20th - July 24th

    August 3rd - August 7th

    August 17th - August 21st

    Christmas Vacation

    December 28 - January 2 

  • Time: 8:15 AM – 3:15 PM

Parent Class (In-Person)

  • Time: 6:30 PM – 8:30 PM

  • Days: Monday

  • Date: July 20th and August 24th

Parent Orientation Class

Parents are required to attend one 2-hour class before on-road lessons can begin.

  • Format: In Person

  • Time: 6:30 PM - 8:30 PM

  • Dates: June 15th, July 20, Aug 24
